Michelle says: My dictionary defines “moderator” as “the nonpartisan presiding officer of a town meeting.” On Thursday, PBS anchor Gwen Ifill will serve as moderator for the first and only vice presidential debate. The stakes are high. The Commission on Presidential Debates, with the assent of the two campaigns, decided not to impose any guidelines […]

Nancy Pelosi is a first class idiot, if she thinks this kind of BS is generating a ‘spirit of cooperation’.  And you know, if she wanted to scuttle the bill, I can’t think of a more effective way to do it, than what she did yesterday in the well. Come to think of it, it’s to the Democrats’ advantage to set things up this way, because in a few days, or weeks when she finally gets around to bringing this up for a vote again, she’s going to have congress critters begging to get screwed over, just so we can get the damn thing passed.

Flash the stock market is adjusting, not crashing. As Michellle points out, today Dow drop did not crack the market’s all time top ten list in percentage of market share lose.
