Perhaps you’ve never heard the name Jeremy Hoven.  It’s a name you should know. Hoven is… was… a pharmacist who thwarted an attempted armed robbery inside a southwestern Michigan Walgreens drug store where he was working by shooting his own gun… a gun he was carrying legally. Let me show you:

Hoven is now suing after being fired from his job, for violating a flat out nutzoid policy of “non-confrontation” policy…. which is tantamount to saying “please come and rob us”.  To say the least, Walgreens is guilty of  creating a criminal friendly environment. To say the truth, Walgreens is creating a more dangerous society for us all, and further is showing clearly they have no respect for our second amendment rights.

Walgreens is not alone in this, of course. The ironically named “Target” stores, too have similar policies. Bank of America, which received over 100 Billion dollars of taxpayer money in the form of a bailout, has apparently made the decision to terminate the account of the McMillan Group International due to their gun-manufacturing activities. Gather:

According to a story by PJMedia, this is the third time that the behemoth bank has “implemented a discriminatory policy against gun manufacturers,” and states that “McMillan rifle stocksare the standard for the Marine Corps’ favored M40A3 sniper rifle.” Their products are used by US forces and allies around the world.

In a statement from the McMillan Group posted on Facebook, Kelly D McMillan claims that Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, had scheduled a meeting with her for an “account analysis.” The McMillan Group has been banking with the bank for 12 years.

According to Kelly’s account, Fox proceeded to speak at length about the group’s gun manufacturing activities, when Kelly interrupted him, saying, “Can I possibly save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.” Fox responded with “That is correct.”

Kelly’s Facebook Post continues, “When I don’t agree with a business’ political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.”

Well, good, but not enough I fear. Our national Gun Phobia appears to be driven by the left, who figures, for reasons unfathomable by most folks, that the government having guns is to “protect” us. Now, perhaps I should note that BOA is a huge part of the Obama machine. So, too, is Target. And Walgreens? Well…. do your own research.

Just ask yourself; why would a group of people who demonstrably are after all the power that they can get within our government to direct our lives and our fortunes, be interested in disarming us?  Logic dictates that we surmise that they want to do that for the same reason that every other dictator in history as wanted to do that.  Solidification of power.

And the question is, what gets done about it?

One Response to “Gun Phobia And What Drives It.”

  1. If guns are so dangerous, and we as a society need to ban them, when is Barack Obama going to disarm the Secret Service?  Not now, not ever.  Liberals don’t want to get rig of their guns, only yours.
