It’s Like It’s Deja Vu, All Over Again

The American Spectator [1] is being overly generous here, but let’s go with it for the moment.

“(I)t is sad that a life so well lived did not benefit from even the shortest decent interval before considering the politics. Ginsburg was smart, determined, principled, resilient, and decent. […] However, the politics is impossible to ignore. And the fault lies with the Left.”

Indeed, but that’s life among Democrats and Ginsberg, of all people, should have expected it.

The body wasn’t even cold yet before the Democrats started screaming about not replacing her. when I told you that Washington was about to get very loud indeed, that’s what I was talking about.

And really, Democrats, don’t you think that treating her like some kind of hero is a bit much?

The ghost of Saul Alinsky writ large, this… always accuse your opponent of what it is you’re doing. Always the push for political power, first and foremost… While bwaming those wascally Wepublicans for getting powitical.

As the article says, the Democrats have nobody to blame for what’s happening but themselves, having turned the courts into a political battlefield.

Along with everything else, of course.

And, certainly, this isn’t new…
