What Did We Learn From Yesterday’s Hearing?

Steve Kruiser addresses the question of what we learned from yesterday’s hearing [1]

Nothing. We learned nothing.

OK, we learned that Stanford law professor Pamela Karlan is a pinched, bitter woman who probably has daddy issues she’s been carrying throughout her life.

Naturally, her maladjusted nastiness turned her into an instant folk hero for the foot-stomping Left.

Rounding up a few academics to complain about any Republican isn’t exactly a daunting task. That’s like wandering around Hyannis Port in the summertime and bumping into a drunk Kennedy.

The Democrats are preaching to their cult-of-outrage choir and nothing more.

I’m not convinced it wasn’t anything more than that. It is true, that this entire television based kabuki dance has been to reinforce the far-left base.

And there’s a number of commentators out there today who are suggesting that the hearings yesterday didn’t change anybody’s mind about much of anything. On that point I disagree:

Pamela Karlan

Do you remember where I spoke of the anger [2] upwelling, just recently? I’m telling you point-blank Pamela Karlan succeeded in galvanizing that anger…. and if you thought the fire of that anger was hot before, you should see it today. It’s my suspicion she (along with, it should be noted, Jonathan Turley) have been successful at bringing a number of rank-and-file Democrats to the realization of just how hateful, and desperate these people are.

If there’s an amusing part of all of this, it’s at the Democrats are digging their own political graves here, and they act like they don’t know it… Her attack on 13 year old Barron Trump was successful at raising a laugh from the swamp creatures, but it will be a costly one to them.

And just think… this individual would have been on the Supreme Court had Hillary Clinton won the election.

As an aside to Stanford University, why is Pamela Karlan still occupying your Halls? Why is she still drawing a paycheck?

She does your credibility no good, because she has none.

As for Jonathan Turley, I was most aggrieved to hear of his impending suicide.
