Says JPod:

It cannot go on like this. It’s been five days since the inaugural and the adrenalized, hypercaffeinated, speed-freak affect of the entire chattering class is beginning to seem like we’re living through Bob Woodward’s classic depiction in his book Wired of John Belushi’s final overcharged sleepless days before dying from a cocaine speedball overdose in 1981.

If every word out of Donald Trump’s mouth is greeted with shrieks of horror and rage and anger and despair and hysteria by his opponents, they are going to find it impossible to serve as any kind of effective opposition to him.

Well, yeah.
But let’s remember people, this is not about Trump.

I suspect and suppose they’d be acting pretty much the same way over just about anybody that was to the right of Castro. As I’ve said repeatedly now, Trump didn’t win because he was Trump, Hillary Clinton lost because she was Hillary Clinton… along with the obvious failure of their socialist wet dreams. They had eight years of their dream candidate and four of them with a totally compliant Congress. The end result of all of that was a complete failure… to the point where the American people wanted to reverse course.

 And… that’s what’s really bugging them.

I still think we would have been better served by an actual conservative. Say, Ted Cruz for example. I am still thoroughly convinced  that had Cruz been nominated, he would have done better  in the popular vote than  Donald Trump did. After all, just about anybody with serious conservative creds would have done well against Hillary Clinton and her negative ratings. And I suspect and suppose that we will be hearing from the good Senator again.

But for the meanwhile, I can’t help but observe that the constant screeching coming from the left is actually damaging their cause.

Ironically, there’s some damage being inflicted on the conservative caused by these people as well. Simply put they’re taking all the air out of the room in terms of any serious opposition from the right at least for now.
