Second Amendment in Action: Mrs. Herman – 5: Paul Slater – 0

The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting.   Hoplophobes like Diana Feinstien [1]  and career criminals like Paul Slater, doe’t think citizens require handguns, no large capacity magazine. I say Mrs.Heran could had used both, from WSBTV [2]:

A woman hiding in her attic with children shot an intruder multiple times before fleeing to safety Friday.

The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman. He said she took her 9-year-old twins to a crawlspace before the man broke in using a crowbar.

But the man eventually found the family.

Channel 2’s Amy Napier Viteri learned from Chapman late Friday night that slater has been placed on a ventilator and suffers from punctured lungs, a punctured liver and a punctured stomach.

Reax: Cold Fury [3]:

Liberal-fascists would rather this woman [2] had been raped and murdered, and her children right along with her.

More reax  Urban Grounds [4]:

1.A .38 revolver is a nice little gun. For a BUG. But even after shooting the intruder 5 times, to include a shot in the face, he was still not incapacitated. Which is why it’s important to know and follow rule #23 rule from The Rules of a Gunfight: Do not attend a gun fight with a handgun whose caliber does not start with a “4.”

The United States Army abandoned the .38 caliber over a century ago and the police a few decades ago. Mrs. Herman, bigger is better.

If Feinstein had her way, Mr. Slater would be alive and well.   On the other hand Mrs. Herman, and her two children, not so well.

Aside to the State of Georgia, if Mr. Slater is a career criminal.   If Mr. Slater survies his wounds, it is long past time for the State of Georgia to take him off the streets.
