Obama: Do As I Say, Not As I Pray

What me worry! [1] fFrom Joel Stegel, ABC News [2]:

Critics of President Obama felt little holiday cheer after the president did not thank God in his Thanksgiving-themed weekly Internet address. They immediately took to Twitter and the Internet to voice anger and disbelief.

“Holy cow! Is that one screwed up or what?” columnist Sherman Frederick of the Las Vegas Review-Journal wrote in a Thanksgiving-morning blog post.

That was then and this now, from Terence P. Jeffrey:

(CNSNews.com [3]) – President Barack Obama said in a speech delivered Thursday evening that Americans should ponder the words of Jesus Christ this Christmas season and make their actions conform to them.

“So long as the gifts and the parties are happening, it’s important for us to keep in mind the central message of this season, and keep Christ’s words not only in our thoughts, but also in our deeds.”

Reax from Ed Driscoll, PJ Media [4]:

“When former social secretaries gave a luncheon to welcome Ms. Rogers earlier this year, one participant said, she surprised them by suggesting the Obamas were planning a ‘non-religious Christmas’ [5]— hardly a surprising idea for an administration making a special effort to reach out to other faiths.”

– The New York Times’ profile of Desirée Rogers, the former Obama White House social secretary, December 4th, 2009.

Barack Hussien Obama seems to have no particular use for Jesus, except as a political prop to win elections.    If Dumbo, b/k/a Obama, wants to be an atheist, or whatever, that purely his own affair.   However Dumbo should not feign  Christianity or crass political purposes.
