On March 1, 2002, a Penn State graduate assistant (“graduate assistant:) who was then 28 years old, entered the locker room at the Lasch Football Building on the University Park Campus on a Friday night near the beginning of Spring Break.
The graduate assistant, who was familiar with Sandusky, was going to put some newly purchased sneakers in his locker and get some recruiting tapes to watch. It was about 9:30 p.m. As the graduate assistant entered the locker room doors, he was surprised to find the lights and showers on. He then heard slapping sounds.He believed the sounds to be those of sexual activity. As the graduate assistant put the sneakers in his locker, he looked into the shower. He saw a naked boy, Victim 2, whose age he estimated to be 10 years old, with his hands up against the wall, being subjected to anal intercourse by a naked Sandusky. The graduate assistant was shocked but noticed that both Victim 2 and Sandusky saw him. The graduate assistant left immediately, distraught.

Look, even calling 911 would have been an improvement over this, but how sick and evil has our society become that the graduate assistant didn’t go over and bash Sandusky’s head into the wall to stop this crime from taking place? Has fear of being called a homophobe at Penn State become so powerful that seeing a crime this horrible underway did not cause an immediate direct, violent response?
Given the apparent depth of moral corruption at PSU, I doubt that even calling the local police would have resulted in any action. However I expect more of any citizen who encounters a rape of child to do more than a Senator Oldsmobile and just walk of away from the incident.
Does Pervert State University tolerate and support pedophilia, sodomy or both?

Hoodlums tore down street signs, threw beer bottles at police, pulled down a lamp post, and made an utter mess as they chanted “F**k the media” and “F**k the trustees” for taking long overdue, underwhelming action to can Paterno and Penn State’s president Graham Spanier [3] for enabling accused child sex predator/rapist Joseph Sandusky for years. The Daily Collegian [4] student newspaper has coverage as the riot unfolded — and I know I’m not the only one aggravated by the passive voice in the paper’s descriptions of students’ acts of vandalism and debauchery.
As if Penn State alumni and donors didn’t have enough reason to hang their heads in shame tonight…
Evidently, building character is not included in the curriculum at Pervert State.
