No issue is more important to voters after two years of rising unemployment and rising federal spending.

Obama has turned manic in his efforts to save his sinking presidency.  Every divisive tactic has been tried — and yet so far found wanting. We have gone through, in creepy Alinskyite fashion, all the bogeymen, JournoList enemies — Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, Justice Roberts, the Tea Party, John Boehner, Karl Rove, and Ed Gillespie. We have witnessed the furor over the voters’ purported stupidity — the dopey clingers who do not understand science or logic, but are driven by their “fears” to reject the hope and change salvation. Obama hammers that condescension home; everyone from Jimmy Carter to John Kerry in similar exasperation joins that chorus that we know not what we do.

Mr. President, your enemy isn’t Rush Limbaugh, the Tea Party or any of myriad of other bogey men you have imagined.    No Mr. President,  your worst enemy stares at you through your mirror when y9u shave every morning.   Quit blaming the American people for your personal problems.

Don’t cry for the Blue Dogs, from Wall Street Journal:

WASHINGTON—More than half the members of the Blue Dog Coalition—the organization of moderate to conservative Democrats in the House—are in peril in next week’s election, a stark indicator of how the balloting could produce a Congress even more polarized than the current one.

The Blue Dogs are often seen as a kind of human bridge, connecting left and right in the House. But that bridge is imperiled by the coming Republican wave in midterm elections, the most stark example of how the midterms are likely to weaken Capitol Hill’s political center

The point is that if  every Blue Dog were to swept from office, nobody would miss anyone of the sorry lot..

Josh Green flagged an incident that occurred outside of the Rand Paul-Jack Conway debate in Lexington, Kentucky Monday night that’s already dominating the news in Kentucky and could easily make headlines nationally.

As the candidates arrived, a group of Paul supporters pulled a female MoveOn member to the ground and held her there as another Paul supporter stomped on the back of her head and neck.

Beutler does not identify his imagined attacker.  So I will explain it to him   The person assaulting the Move-On thug and co-worker Lauren Valle is using the Community Organizer in Chief favorite rassling move, the boot to the throat.   Dim witted OFA types have trouble distinguishing heads from throat, but you get the  idea.

The Unhinged Leftist Who Lunged at Rand Paul Is a Paid Activist

MoveOn.org contract employee Lauren Valle stalked and lunged at Rand Paul outside the final debate last night.

Move-On planted Valle in the crowd and there is no reason to believe that Valle was Move-On’s only plant.   So it is impossible for Beutler to simply assume the person with his boot on her head was an actual supporter of Rand Paujl.

Paul supporter Tim Profitt said video of the scuffle made it appear worse than it was and he chided police for not stepping in. Lauren Valle, the 23-year-old activist with the group MoveOn.org, said her face was swollen and her neck and shoulder were sore after she was wrestled to the ground

It is now incumbent for Move-On to prove that P:ofitt was not on their payroll.

As I have documented dozens of times before, the left-blogosphere has concocted allegations against Tea Party members for much of the past year in an effort to paint opponents of Democrats as extremist and violent.  Really for the first time, they have an incident they can blow out of proportion for political purposes.

It is the democrats who have the history campaign violence.
