Jesse Jackson’s Plantaton Mindset

Martin Luther King [1]:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Jesse Jackson, via Project 21 [2]:

“You can’t vote against health care and call yourself a black man.”

Deneen Borelli, idib:

“Ironically, Jackson is acting like a slaveowner trying to keep blacks on his ideological plantation, where they are required to support government programs that increase public dependency on a bureaucracy.”

Kevin L. Martin, idib.

“It’s no mystery why Jackson consistently failed to win broad appeal for his goals and must instead resort to ugly racial politics.”

If as Jackson argues, being black is not a matter of genetics, but rather only a mindset of adopting attitudes which meet with Jackson’s personal approval, the the black socioeconomic disparity is not a result of either nature, nurture, or white anti-black discrimination, but rather only a result of conforming to Jackson’s plantation mentality.
