CBS News [1]has learned that Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick will name former Democratic National Committee chairman Paul Kirk to the Senate seat left vacant by Ted Kennedy’s death last month.
[2]After all the screaming about the the way Mass state laws were written as regards succession of office in the Senate , it seems they’re not so worried about the will of the people, now, as they were when a Republican was Govenor there.
