CBS News has learned that Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick will name former Democratic National Committee chairman Paul Kirk to the Senate seat left vacant by Ted Kennedy’s death last month.
After all the screaming about the the way Mass state laws were written as regards succession of office in the Senate , it seems they’re not so worried about the will of the people, now, as they were when a Republican was Govenor there.
