Andrew Breitbart, Big Government, has released what five ACORN videos. Let me see, Baltimore, DC, Brooklyn, San Bernadino and San Diego. So I find it hard to accept this line from the one at face value, from this Weak with George Stephanopoulos, ABC News:
OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.
That video, as in singular. The one does not reveal to which single video he is referring. It is certainly the most interesting presidential use of the word “that” since B.J. Clinton wagged his finger as the American public and denied having sex with that Miss Lewinsky.

Either the one doesn’t know the definition of the word tax, or he feels he assign any meaning at to a word. If Obama words means only what Obama wants them to mean, then they but mere words. Evidently Obama feels that a tax is not a tax, unless Obama deems it to be a tax, James Taranto, Best of the Web:

In the most contentious exchange of President Barack Obama’s marathon of five Sunday shows, he said it is “not true” that a requirement for individuals to get health insurance under a key reform plan now being debated amounts to a tax increase.
But he could look it up — in the bill.
Page 29, sentence one of the bill introduced by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont) says: “The consequence for not maintaining insurance would be an excise tax.”
George Stephanopoulus, Chris Frates and Mike Allen all of ABC News, call an individual mandate a tax. The Senate version’s author, Max Baucus calls it a tax. Merriam Webster calls it a tax. Obama says it not a tax. Apparently Stephanpoulus, Frates, Allen, Baucus and Webster are all wrong, or the one is all wet.

The main problem Republicans have with ACORN is that is vowed to oppose and disrupt the TEA Party activities. There is an excellent top post on MumblingRepublican.com blog section regarding the misconnect by the typical TEA party follower with the initiator of the TEA party, a Rick Santellis from CNBC.
It should not be overlooked by those persons who got out there to create a pre-emptive ambush of ACORN workers, those low paid people who were serving the purpose of voter registrations and such other community programs as were needed.
Why does it take a Republican pimp and his whore to get a camera to record reactions? The impression is left that Republicans have do not have “family values” in mind with this image, let alone repeated times of trips to Brazil to pursue affairs, or toe-tapping adventures in a Minneapolis – St. Paul airport, etc, etc.
Why not work on creating a credible, cohesive health care plan that shows how the Republicans view a solution to the health care mess we’re in.
That’s how Republicans of the Eisenhower – Nixon – Reagan – Ford – Bush I years would have done it. Then we would have the real conservative Republican point of view.
Maybe even a retro idea: Go back to Teddy Roosevelt and exhume his ideas for a health care program.

I reject the attempted analogy between the Tea Partiers and ACORN. The Tea Parties are privately funded and legal. ACORN is using public funds for criminal activity.
The last time I checked it was neither illegal nor immoral to pose as either a pimp or a prostitute. In fact Mrs. B.J Clinton likes to refer to the latter as sex workers.
As for a serious republican response to heath care. the democrats have the White House and both house of Congress. Let them make a sober and rational proposal on health care. To date, they have not.
