The Wall Street Journal today has an op-ed up on Irving Kristol, [1] (really just a collection of quotes from Kristol, which is likely the best way to handle such things) Forbes is reporting [2]Kristol as having died at age 89 in Falls Church, VA a few hours ago.
Kristol, has been dubbed the “godfather of neoconservatism [3]“. And yes, he’s William Kristol’s father, the younger being the founder and the current editor at the [4]Weekly Standard [4].
For whatever it’s worth, the official cause of death if complications due to lung cancer.
