After pigging out on hamburgers, Barack Obama tries a new diet, crow;  Micheal Goldfarb, Weekly Standard:

Obama Accepts False Choice of Military Commissions

Passed to a friendly reporter at the Washington Post late on a Friday afternoon is news that President Obama will continue the system of military commissions he railed against as a candidate. The administration will make a few minor tweaks, but as Andy McCarthy points out at the Corner in a post eviscerating the Post for its credulous analysis of the move, these commissions are “in every material way, exactly the same as the Bush Commissions: they will allow the trial of terrorism suspects in a setting that favors the government and protects classified information, and they will be criticized – perhaps not quite as sharply, but sharply – by the same hard Lefties that Obama and Holder were courting during the campaign.”

Personally, I’ve had my fill of Obama campaign rhetoric of rejecting false choices.    Only in Obama deluded mind, to wit;  Obamaland, is his supposed choice possible.

The good thing about Obama’s crow is that that it will be very well done.  Bill O’Reilly, the former school teacher, gives the one a lesson on the difference between history, as recorded, and Obama’s counter-factual version, via Gateway Pundit.

O’Reilly strikes me as being a lot like Obama, to wit an arrogant jerk.   The difference is that, unlike Obama,  O’Reilly is a careful jerk.    The Factor’s research staff, what all three of them, make Obama’s government staff research staff look like inept fools, much like their boss.

The fact that Obama cites his counter-factual history does not in of itself prove that his assertion about rejecting the use of enhanced interrogati0n is wrong.   It does, in of itself, prove that his method of obtaining his conclusion is wrong.   That is the problem with Obamaland, the delusions just don’t conform ot the real world.

  1. .The Left is just keeping this ‘Mustard story’  alive, the Right had a chuckle and moved on.  There are many much more important things to criticize this administration about.  The Left doesn’t want people focusing on the big stuff, because that’s where it’s most dangerous to them.  The Truth will bring them down, God willing..absurd thought -God of the Universe saysdeify your dear leadersthey are supernaturalwith magical qualities.absurd thought -God of the Universe saysdon’t protest tax increasesor support states’ rightsYOU RIGHT-WING EXTREMIST.
