The Drive By Media Honeymoon From Reality

I don’t think it is an actual job requirement to be stupid to write for the Boston Globe, but it just might be, Jame Carroll, Boston Globe: [1]

For a brief period, America’s new president will bask in universal goodwill. The Arab world, Muslims generally, and Palestinians in particular, have unprecedented reason to believe they will be heard. Israel can count on Obama’s friendship. The war in Gaza requires him to act boldly and swiftly. If he has political and moral capital, he must begin by spending it there, making sure that such heartbreaking violence stops, for good

So much for Carroll’s alternative universe    Back on the real world, Gateway Pundit [2]:

Pakistani officials also blasted Obama for his irresponsible remarks of a unilateral invasion

Threating to bomb one’s country is not a way of generating goodwill.    It does not led to honeymoons and does offer hope new and postive change.   Then anybody with an IQ above that of room tempeature already know that.

Hat tip and more, Eric, Viking Pundit [4].
