The Lynyrd Skynyrd concert scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2009 at Coushatta Casino Resort has been cancelled. We hope to re-schedule the show in the near future.

Billy Powell, keyboardist with rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, has died aged 56. He was one of the members of the band’s original lineup to have survived the 1977 plane crash, which killed two of his bandmates and their assistant manager.
A report by Press Association says the cause of death is a suspected heart attack. Powell had a history of heart problems and is said to have called emergency services yesterday to say he was having trouble breathing. An ambulance was dispatched to the musician’s home but he could not be resuscitated and was pronounced dead.
