Has Max Baucus ever read the Constitution? I kind of doubt it. According to the New York Slimes:
WASHINGTON – Without waiting for President-elect Barack Obama, Senator Max Baucus, the chairman of the Finance Committee, will unveil a detailed blueprint on Wednesday to guarantee health insurance for all Americans by facilitating sales of private insurance, expanding Medicaid and Medicare, and requiring most employers to provide or pay for health benefits.[…]
People would have a duty to obtain coverage when affordable options were available to all through employers or through the insurance exchange. This obligation “would be enforced, possibly through the tax system,” the plan says.
Duty to obtain health care coverage? On what farging planet? Read the Constitution Senator. You are full if it. The ‘rats can’t even wait for BO to assume office before they start ignoring the Constitution.

yeah, well rightbloggers should be doing everything possible to undermine and damage Obama. Demonize him. Disrespect him. Misquote him. Attribute slips of the lip or gaffes to stupidity and let’s get a “given” established that he’s dishonest, a cretin, traitorous, criminal and evil. Distort and invent quotes and urban legends to ridicule and discredit him. It worked for the Dems. To anyone who says “let’s give him a chance” I say f*** Obama.

Pretty much.
Look; Even aside from the idea that his stated policy leanings are a bloody disaster of themselves, we enter questions of competence, given he has no track history whatever. The American voter has ignored these issues at their own peril, and we’re about to pay the piper.
And of course, as I say elsewhere, it’s exactly what Democrats would do, even absent such questions about a Republican President Elect.
