Why did Barack Obama’s campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.” Marsh said West’s insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was “100 percent false.”
Watch the interview. West was polite, not combative. She asked simple direct questions. The only insults were on the part of Joe Biden. I seen numberout republican press secretaries go toe to toe with Thomas without the bellyaching coming from the Obama campaign. If Barack Obama can not stand up to an American reporter, how is he going to stand up to an American enemy.

I have to disagree with your opinion that the “West was polite, not combative. “. In my opinion the questions were tough. That’s fine. But the way they were asked was Very Slanted. Heck, it wouldn’t have surprised me if she had asked “Sen. Biden are you now or have you even been a member of the Communist Party”?
Contrast this with her earlier interview with McCain. After a fairly similar question about ACORN, the interview becomes a nice relaxing jaunt, with no substance or challenge whatsoever.

My answer Joe McCarthy’s question would be no. It only a tough question if you have been or are a member of the Communist Party. Likewise West’s questions about Obama’s tax ideas being rooting in Marxism is only a tough question because Obama is indeed a Marxist. Then by some standards it is impolite to refer to the One as a socialist. Like France, the truth has now become an insult. Obama has spent his entire life among socialists. He is incapable ot thinking outside the socialist box.
The essense of an economy is value creation. The more value a sociity creates, the more wealth it has. Socialists put undue emphasiss on distributing wealth without regard to the effects on value generation. Put another way, as society, you get what for which you provide incentives. Obama provides incentive to ride the economic wagon, not pull it.
Then Obama is not a very smart person, as opposed to his puppet masters.

When a leftard, i.e. Mrs. Shehan, opposed the President, it was lauded was stsnding up to power. When an ordinary American, a/k/a Joe the Plumber or Barbara West asks the One an honest question, it regarded as akin to treason.
At the rate BO turns ordinary Americans into folk heros, there will no shortage of bloodied icons to lead the counter revolution. Demmonizing people like Joe and Barbara will only work if American get intimidated. Then we are Americans. We don’t get intimidated. Lets Roll!
