Unfreeping believeable.   Barack Obama, through Wesley Clark is attacking Captain John McCain’s, United States Navy (retired) military record, Josh Kraushaar:

Gen. Wesley Clark, acting as a surrogate for Barack Obama’s campaign, invoked John McCain’s military service against him in one of the more personal attacks on the Republican presidential nominee this election cycle.

Clark said that McCain lacked the executive experience necessary to be president, calling him “untested and untried” on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” And in saying so, he took a few swipes at McCain’s military service.

Captain McCain was tested like few men ever were, and as no man ever should.   Unlike the previous Democrat nominee Captain McCain did opt to leave the theater early, and did not attack his fellow veterans when he returned home.   Captain McCain served his country with valor, courage and honor.

BO of course has no military record, and a record of horrid judgement, Joe Lieberman:

“If we had done what Sen. Obama asked us to do for the last couple of years, today Iran and Al Qaeda would be in control of Iraq. It would be a terrible defeat for us and our allies in the Middle East and throughout the world.”

More, Gateway Pundit:

Wesley Clark said that Obama was: “Running on the strengths of character, on the strengths of his communication skills, on the strengths of his judgment.”
It’s not clear if he referring to the 20 year relationship Obama had with TUCC and Rev. Wright with that statement

Kerry tired to make a political name for himself by slandering the American Fighting Man.   Now BO is taking a page from Kerry”s playbook.   Captain McCain made carrier landings at night.   Nothing in BO’s tepid little life can match that experience.  I call upon Obama to repudiate Clark and personally apologize to Captain McCain.

Addendum: (Bit)

Well, let’s see. Clark, eh? Oh, heck. Turnabout’s fair play. Didnt Clark, last election, back someone whose only contribution was sitting in a boat, and who through some feat of training, and courage, manged to wound himself in the ass with his own bit of schrapnel? I mean, didn’t Clark call that service significant in terms of the guy’s ability to lead? Didn’t the guy Clark supported, back in the day, just about change his name to “Served in Vietnam”?

Look, let’s stipulate Clark is a bit of scum, and move on from there,  shall we?

Addendum II: (Bit) Michelle Malkin has lots more.
