It is, apparently, a measure of either how twisted our news gathering orgs have become, or that it’s a slow news day for them, when the lead story on all the TV nets this morning amounted to “Anna Nicole Simpson is still dead.”, with a follow up story about how Trailer Trash Barbie is back in Rehab, again. And just in case we run outta stuff in those two situations, there’s always the Phil Spector trial waiting in the wings.
Or perhaps they’d rather not spend any time following real news stories? I’ll bet they wonder why people refuse to take them seriously, anymore.
