A few days ago, Bit blogged about “RINOS FOR DEFEAT” to include one Walter B. Jones(R GA-3) Well it appears that all those cards and letter have had an effect, on Representative Jones.
In a letter to Bananas Jack Murtha, Jones wrote:
“I believe that we must take great care to ensure that any effort to provide for our armed forces not be used as a proxy for resolving larger issues concerning the war in Iraq,”
And:
“Any attempt to starve the war as a way of bringing it to a conclusion, rather than through a serious policy debate about the best way forward in Iraq, would be wrong.”
The message got through to at least one RINO. If we can turn enough RINO’s we might have chance to pick up some blue doge. Then maybe it will be Bananas Jack on the run.
