WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 — To shouts and cheers from thousands of Democrats assembled here, the party’s leading presidential contenders condemned President Bush’s war in Iraq [2] on Friday but sharply differed over how to end it — and particularly whether Democrats should settle for a nonbinding resolution expressing the Senate’s opposition to Mr. Bush’s war policies.
Such splits are what happens when you move away from the logical basics of the thing. There is only one path to peace; victory over the enemy. Which is the one thing, that all of these moron Democrats are avoiding. So heavily invested are they in America’s defeat, that the one real path to peace gets denied.
