Alex Knapp over at OTB, wonders how it is that Bill RIchardson hasn’t gotten more attention from the Democrats.
He thinks it may have something to do with the issue of fame; I disagree. They all knew nothing about Bill Clinton, back in the day.
The answer however is simple enough; he’s not strident enough to attract the attention of the BDS sufferers the party is being held hostage by. Thus has the party become functionally disconnected from the mainstream of America, their claims of being the mainstream of America not withstanding.
it’s to the point now, where anyone who makes it through the Democratic primary, is not going to make it in the general election.
