It strikes me in reading this quote that this is exactly the role that most bloggers take… critics… politics, and culture bloggers particualrly. But given those subjects are also part of the usual fodder for Stand up philosophers (Oh, you mean bullshit artists!) (Mel Brooks, History of the world, part one) ..OK, Stand up comics, then… I have to wonder what a Richard Pryor blog would be like. Sadly, I don’t think we’re ever going to find out.
