The Media Death Watch?

John at Dummocrats [1] notes the increasing amount of traffic, and speculation of Justice Rehnquist as ‘Deep Throat” and says:

“It’s a little disturbing, especially coming from a media that’s studiously ignoring a big, fat, juicy Eason Jordan story.”

Well, of course, John.  After all… if you’re a Democrat… and most of the press is… which would you rather cover?

  • A 30 year old story of the press’s success at making a Republican, Richard M. Nixon, look bad…. the goal of which was to bring down his presidency,

    • Or….

  • A current story involvng a member of the press, caught lying in an attempt to have the same level of success making another Republican, George W Bush, look bad… the goal of which was to bring HIS presidency down?
