Oh, God, Part 17: Hillary Clinton Urges Use of Faith-based Initiatives

The Democrat freindly Boston Globe [1] has released a story depicting Hillary Clinton as a member of the heretofore unheard -of “religious left”.

This is nothing less than a cynical bit of political positioning… as bad as I’ve ever seen… and a direct response to getting their collectivist butts kicked in the last election.

In a speech at a fund-raising dinner for a Boston-based organization that promotes faith-based solutions to social problems, Clinton said there has been a “false division” between faith-based approaches to social problems and respect for the separation of church of state.

“There is no contradiction between support for faith-based initiatives and upholding our constitutional principles,” said Clinton, a New York Democrat who often is mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2008.”

Reynolds [2]seems to think this is sincerity on her part. Comon, Glenn.. at what point in her life other than when she claimed “We ARE the president” has this person EVER been ‘sincere’? (And I use the term ‘person’ in the most abjectly loose sense possible to the language..)

I mean, this should be a fairly easy romp through the net… can anyone find Hillary making argumments against Faith Based initiatives previously, gang? Can EVERYONE find such without breaking a sweat?
