Kelly’s Supposed Source Denies Kelley’s Charge.

Captain’s Quarters [1] has a story up this morning, linking to Howard Kurtz in the WaPo. Says Captain Ed:

“Kitty Kelley’s only source for her blockbuster allegation of drug use by George W. Bush at Camp David during his father’s administration strenuously denied telling Kelley any such thing, according to Howard Kurtz at the Washington Post. Not only does Sharon Bush, W’s ex-sister-in-law, deny alleging the drug use but also categorically states that the accusation is false:”

Well of course the first thing that ocurrs to ME is that the press ran with this one bigtime, and yet has not, for the most part interviewed ANY of the SwiftVets. Take for example, NBC’s Today show who has Kelly on for three successive days this week. Wanna bet they avoid this point of Kurtz’s altogether? Oh, THAT liberal media.

And should we also point out that this was the same press that was bemoaning the rise of Drudge, and of weblogs as ‘untrained’ and ‘unreliable’ as news sources?

blogoSFERICS cites the same article [2] and points up the idea that Kelley doesn’t exactly have a stellar track record… and more.
