The AP is reporting, (and the New York Times, even is admitting) that the economy is on the mend. Up, in fact another 3.1% last quarter/ Better than the Democrats wanted, but better even than the Bush Administration had hoped. As I recall they predicted along the lines of a 2.4% growth.
The Washington Times, the only real newspaper in the loop, gets into some detail on this story.
Computers and software, my own field, showed particularly strong growth… around 8.2% of spending growth. This would seem to suggest a boom… a large one…. is currently underway.
A sound economy….Yet another reason why Democrats cannot win this next election.
