Here’s a point I’ve been making for some time, now…. as expressed by Terry A. Hurlbut at the site Conservative News and Views: Everyone remembers the anti-propaganda campaign that followed: “Bush Lied; People Died!”, “General Betray-Us,” et cetera ad nauseam. A few voices, most notably that of Sean Hannity, insisted that Saddam Hussein did have WMD, [...]
I was asked once why businessmen in general are usually soul anti-government. I quickly responded by saying that it’s because they’re the ones that deal with the results of government. All of it negative. Just recently former presidential candidate George McGovern died. I noted with interest David posted a note on that topic. He quite [...]
Bullies, as anyone who has dealt with them before will tell you, tend to be not all that bright. And look, I know I’m hardly the first to the first to notice this, but Joe Biden would seem a prime example. They also tend to be rude, obnoxious and overbearing. Think about it, gang. If [...]
About that 2007 Obama Hamptons Video… Here it is. I should warn you, that the draw on the servers at the Daily Caller is apparently quite high. I’d be interested in seeing how many millions have seen the vid. I’d also give a lemon cookie for a peek at their security log. I’m willing [...]
At some point during this next week, you’re going to hear one of the Democrats, either Obama or Biden mouth the words “Two wars we didn’t pay for”. Likely at the debates scheduled for this week, but outside those venues as well. After all, this is a mantra they’ve been chanting for the last four [...]
What we have additionally in the case of Obama, this time, is a case of liberals outright lying to us to cover their own backsides. Not only is Obama foreign policy a failure, in much the same way and for the same reasons that Jimmy Carter’s foreign policy was a failure, but now Mr. Obama and his people have been caught flat out lying to the American people in a feeble attempt to cover the failure of their worldview and their foreign policy.
I suggest that if the foreign policy failures themselves were not enough to remove Obama from office as they were in the case of Jimmy Carter, Lying about it certainly should be.
I don’t think there’s any question about that, and have said so since the opening bell on this case. Doug Mataconis writes about this at OTB and basically confirms my initially voiced suspicions: A new set of email messages among top level Penn State officials shows quite blatantly the extent to which they went out [...]
Been having some issues with my laptop this past week, so I have some catching up to do. One of the issues that I want to cover is of course the Trayvon Martin thing. I suggested, back when the story first started going viral that it was being twisted and trumped up by the [...]
I have for a long time found Ann Coulter fascinating. Occasionally wrong, mostly correct. I have several of her books on my shelves here. I even carry one in the truck that I haven’t finished reading. That said, it fascinates me that Coulter who had nothing but derision for John McCain, thinks that Mitt Romney [...]
The Herminator, b/k/a Herman Cain plays the race card on Dumbo, b/k/a Barack Obama, and he dose it with a smile and in style, and without a teleprompter video: Hat tip video: Alan Colmes I note that Cain has a large advantage of over Obama. Cain knows who he is. Cain was born into and [...]
Herman Cain is on the A team. The lame streamers needs to stop sending second rate hacks to interview Cain. Speaking of second rate hacks, CNN’s Candy Crowly to the Herminator, b/k/a Herman Cain, via Joel B. Pollak, Big Journalism:: And I would say to you an unemployment rate for blacks that is far higher–almost [...]
Why the War on Barbour? From Alex Pareene, Slate: Corpulent unreconstructed good ol’ boy Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour apparently has a “state plane” that he uses to fly to football games with corporate executives, Politco reports today. Barbour, a former tobacco lobbyist and deluded would-be presidential candidate, has taken the plane “to at least one [...]
Billy Hollis at Q&O today: McQ hit these pompous fools when they first popped their heads up. I was too busy to chime in then, but the more I’ve watched this whole “No Labels” thing, the funnier it gets. George Will does a pretty good job today of shredding some of their sillier assertions: Although [...]
Flock Fairness, from Jay Eisenhofer and Richard Schiffrinm, AOL News: (Dec. 16) — With President Barack Obama facing an outpouring of criticism from his party base following the tax-and-spending deal cut with congressional Republicans, it is time for the base to face reality: The Democrats’ message on the economy is not working. Voters are not [...]
Some interesting thoughts on Sarah Palin’s new book…. which I happen to have started reading myself just the other day. I’ll leave Melissa’s thoughts on the book itself to her article. But she, in the process of laying the groundwork for her review, points up something that I’ve noticed myself on the state of things [...]
