• Not that it ever amounted to much anyway, but Fox Business blog notes that the gas tax holiday went bye bye, before it ever got going. And let’s be honest, here, 18.4 cents at the pump doesn’t even scratch the surface of the tax take going on, here.
  • Of course, that news shows up just in time for a trip we’ve had planned for a month, now. RT around 800 miles,  and price, around $150, for a trip that a few years ago ran us $60. Gee, thanks, Democrats.
  • Speaking of taxes, and their effects; Fox also notes that the stimulus checks gave the economy a boost like it hasn’t had in 33 years. Disposable incomes went up by 5.7%.  Kinda gives you pause, doesn’t it, as to the effects taxes have on the economy?
