So we see snowflake extraordinaire Lawrence O’Donnell from MSNBC on Twitter:

2 days after Bolton submitted his manuscript to the White House, Trump killed Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani.

Coincidence?

Or was Trump trying to influence Bolton not to testify to the Senate?

I understand that Trump derangement syndrome exists, particularly in the denizens of CNN NBC and the New York Times…

But this makes me believe that if O’Donnell spoke his mind, MSNBC would be sending out nothing but dead air… Silencio.

Over at PJM, Tyler O’Neill says it well:

While the entire rest of the world is fooled, he has figured out the secret truth behind Trump’s airstrike that killed Iranian Quds Force leader Qasem Suleimani. You see, it had nothing to do with the Iran-backed militias storming the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. It had nothing to do with the hundreds of American troops Soleimani’s efforts had killed and the troops who may have been targeted in the future. It had nothing to do with the fact he was a terrorist mastermind ravaging the Middle East for decades.
No, it was all about appeasing John Bolton.

Look, I don’t know what’s in Bolton’s book, and neither do you. All that we have is a third-hand account of what’s in the book by somebody who wasn’t supposed to be leaking the transcript who just happens to be Colonel Vindman’s brother. (Some coincidence, huh?) But you know who else doesn’t know? That’s right, the Democrats.

Anyone … And I mean anyone who has done the slightest bit of homework, would have come up with what Matt did:

But the Democrats have already heard from John Bolton. On August 27, 2019, Bolton gave an interview with Radio Free Europe and spoke about both of Trump’s phone calls with President Zelensky.

Let’s be kind, and assume for the sake of that kindness that the Democrats knew about this interview and knew that it would be brought up in the Senate trial. it would of course crush their arguments completely.

So why are they playing this game with John Bolton?

They’re trying to drag the trial out as far as they can. They’re going to be playing this game with everything they have and every little nuance that comes along. they’re not going to let it go. They can’t afford to let it go. as I pointed out earlier today, there’s way too much at stake for the establishment of both parties.

As to what is motivating John Bolton, that’s a question I have no answer for as yet, though I do have to assume for the moment that there is a certain amount of loyalty on his mind for those still inhabiting the 7th floor at the State Department.

As for a Lawrence O’Donnell I suggest that he is off his medications again. He needs watching, and I don’t mean on TV.
