Elizabeth Warren claiming that she is native American, and then chastising even her own people for questioning the statement.
Jussie Smollett claiming that he was attacked by Trump supporters.
Colin Kaepernick claiming that he was victimized by the NFL.
Hillary Clinton claiming her plane was fired upon.
All of these and thousands more have one central theme. Victimhood.
The stance of the victim is a very powerful one, particularly in today’s society. They are not responsible, nor accountable, and therefore have no need in their own minds to change their behavior. Add to that they feel forever entitled to our sympathy, and our guilt.
Such a person is constantly blaming everybody else within pointing distance for their problems, even if the placement of such blame makes absolutely no sense. Like for example the governor of New York blaming Florida for everybody leaving New York instead of his own idiotic and destructive policies. Like the former Secretary of State blaming a YouTube video that nobody saw for Benghazi.
I’ve already pointed up earlier, a goodly number of hoaxes [1] specifically designed to further the narrative of the left.
But notice that the central theme is always the status of victimhood. If you think about it, that’s always been the case with socialists starting with Marx, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, and of course today’s Democrat Party.
We will see endless reams of back peddling after everybody dose head first into the hoax perpetrated by Jussie Smollett. (Funny thing, you’ll never see that hoax being labeled a hate crime, as it unquestionably was.)
But we never see the attacks on conservatives like this one [2] at Berkeley, for example. And that should tell you something all by itself.
