Is the political swamp any more fetid than in Detroit? If recently resigned John Conyers II has his way, the swamp called Detroit will continue, from Washington Free Beacon [1]:
The son of outgoing Democratic Rep. John Conyers (Mich.) was arrested earlier this year on suspicion of domestic assault, records show.
In Los Angeles earlier this year, the younger Conyers, 27, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after his girlfriend called the police, NBC reports.

The elder Conyers resigned Tuesday after he was accused by multiple former staffers of sexual abuse and harassment. In his resignation speech, the Michigan Democrat endorsed his son to fill the open seat.
II resigns in disgrace and endorses III. Junior hardly seems like an improvement over his old man.
