Several times that day these days I get emails from folks wanted to know who it is that I support in the coming presidential election. Frankly, I haven’t gotten down to that point yet. But I can tell you with some assurity who I would and would not vote for should they manage to get the nomination.

First, I will not vote for any Democrat of any strike anytime, anywhere. All this proves of course is that I have a functional brain. That said…,..

I will also not vote for any GOP establishment candidate. These would include John Kasich, Jeb Bush, and Marco Rubio. Just not going to happen. The establishment GOP has been talking a good game for a long time, but when they finally get themselves into positions of power, they end up being as bad as the Democrats.

I will not vote for Rand Paul, who has much to commend him as far as domestic policy goes. Insofar as his foreign policy however, it is complete insanity, & I will not sign off on him.

I would vote for Donald Trump though at the moment, somewhat reluctantly.

I would vote for ben Carson download it’s true that he and I have some policy disagreements at least based on what has been reported which is always a question. But I think he and Trump would be an improvement over most of the field. Most certainly, an improvement over any Democrat. I have policy differences with them, I may question their strategy, but they do have the advantage of never leaving any doubt has to whose side they’re on.

I most certainly would vote for Ted Cruz, who I read as probably the best of the group right now. The most frequent objection I hear to Ted Cruz taking the nomination is that liberals don’t like him. Well, forgive me, but that seems a positive to me. I mean really, we have allowed the left to pick candidates for the last several turns. Where has that gotten us?
