Ruth Marcus, WaPo, does her Nina Burleigh for Mrs. Clinton’s sputtering campaign to restore her husband, B.J. Clinton to the Oval Office, from Washington Post:
Yes, [Mrs.] Clinton’s path to power came through her husband; if I were designing the perfect First Woman President, she would not be the daughter or the wife of a prominent politician. Yet Clinton’s history does not negate the current reality of her résumé and her deep grounding in both foreign and domestic policy.
Ms Marcus lauds Mrs. Clinton’s supposed foreign policy achievement, but neglects to name any. How strange. Let me help Ms Marcus out. Mrs. Clinton’s husband waged an illegal and immoral war on Yugoslavia. Attacked an empty tent to distract from the Affair Monica,and remained impotent to series of terrorsts attacks on United States interest, World Trade Center I, Somalia, and the USS Cole.
Mrs. Clinton for part used her infamous reset button to restart the Cold War and stood over the bodies of four Americans and lied to both their families and to the nation about their cause of death.
Mrs. Clinton is unwilling to stand up to her husband. Likewise she lacks the moral vision and courage necessary to lead our nation.
