    As I understand it, south of the border, Cinco de Mayo. is a minor holiday.  I mean, just how much emotional satisfaction can you get from beating the French, even if if was Mexican militia beating a numerically superior unit of French regulars?  It would seem like making a national holiday over the Doolittle raid on Toyko.
