I compared Texas Senator Wendy Davis to John Kerry yesterday. Both marry for money and dump their spouses when they no longer need them. Albeit that Kerry is better at it. Now Davis has gone Delaware Blue Hen and done a Joe Biden, in reference to her opponent for governor Greg Abbott, Davis said, via Neo-Neocon:
“I am proud of where I came from and I am proud of what I’ve been able to achieve through hard work and perseverance. And I guarantee you that anyone who tries to say otherwise hasn’t walked a day in my shoes.”
Reax:
Since Abbott doesn’t walk at all, it’s a rather infelicitous figure of speech, don’t you think?
