Rat’s losing the Fat Vote? Micheal Moore has crisis of faith, from Sahil Kapur, Raw Story:

Just over a year ago, Michael Moore vigorously campaigned for President Obama and the Democratic Party. But watching them jettison the public option from health care legislation appears to have been the final straw.

“These Democrats are a bunch of wusses,” Moore told Raw Story in a hard-edged interview Wednesday. “They don’t have the courage of their convictions. They won’t stand and fight.”

Remember Micheal, you’ll always have Cuba.

Can Blind Man Paterson see the end coming:

New York (CNN) – New York’s Commission on Public Integrity is charging Gov. David Paterson with an ethics violation for accepting free tickets to last year’s World Series, a commission spokesman said Wednesday.

Psst Dave, just between you and me, I think the entire New York State political establishment is out to get you.

Is this the end for Good time Charlie? Jonathan Allen & Jake Sherman, Politico

House Democratic aides say the end may be near for Charles Rangel.

Republicans plan to bring to the floor this week a resolution calling for Rangel’s ouster as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and Democratic aides say defections from vulnerable Democrats may give the GOP enough votes to prevail.

WTF Over! Deidre Woollard, Luxist:

Is the suit that O.J. Simpson was wearing back in 1997 on the day that he was acquitted in the trial for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman really a historical object? For a moment it looked like the suit might be headed to the Smithsonian, the home of a variety of objects like the Hope Diamond, the Spirit of St. Louis and Julia Child’s kitchen.

Beats the Hell oot of me G.I.

Summers blame Winter, Fox News:

The White House wants a do-over for February’s yet-to-be released jobs numbers, arguing that the blizzards that hammered the country last month also dented the economic recovery.

Though the February unemployment figures are not out yet, White House economic adviser Larry Summers is already lowering expectations and claiming that winter weather is to blame for any posted decline.

I quess Larry didn’t get  the memo to blame Bush.

Should Dolphins be treated like People, ABC News:

Scientists who have studied the remarkable lives of dolphins have found themselves in a bit of an ethical quagmire.

There seems to be little doubt now that dolphins are surprisingly intelligent, know who they are as individuals, and engage in cultural traditions that can be passed on to succeeding generations. In short, they are a lot like humans.

So, should they be treated as “persons”? Should they be recognized as fellow travelers on this planet, rather than captive exhibitionists or laboratory specimens?

No.  Dolphins are animals and should be treated as such.

So how’s that Smart Diplomacy working out for ya, Mrs. Clinton? Noah Pollak, Commentary:

[Secretary of State, Mrs B.J.] Clinton appears to extend timeline for Iran sanctions.” The Secretary of State told reporters aboard her flight to Argentina:

“We are moving expeditiously and thoroughly in the Security Council. I can’t give you an exact date, but I would assume sometime in the next several months.”

Why all the delays? The reason is that China and Russia are refusing to join a sanctions resolution.

What was Einstein definition of insanity:  Trying the same thing, over and over, and expecting different results?
