I notice you did not disparage the Republican female house members who actually said that women, because of their caregiver roles, would have solved the healthcare problem by now. I agree with their thesis. Of course, we males have an alibi for our competitive, uncooperative nature, don’t we ?

Gee, I had thought I had disparaged all
women. As for the alleged republican congressscritters, Representative Shea-Porter did not identify any. So I assume that she imagined the entire conversation, much in the manner of Dick Gephardt.
In the particular as to Shea-Porter’s thesis that as women are drawn to care giving that somehow they are imbued with some magical powers to create a better health care system, I simply do not buy it. In the larger picture, I don’t believe the democrats have neither intent nor desire to improve the nation’s health care sysstem. To wit, the democrats refuse to live under the same healtlh care rules they would impose on the general public. The democrats would impose one class of health care the Joe Sixpacks of the nation, and another higher class for the ilk of Dirty Harry Reid and Mrs. Pelosi.
As for the allegation of republicans being uncooperative, it is hard to cooperate on legislation written behind closed doors in secret.
