Sure Barack Obama does not think Dirty Harry Reid is a racist, from Eric Zimmermann, Hill: [2]
“Harry Reid called me today and apologized for an unfortunate comment reported today,” Obama said. “I accepted Harry’s apology without question because I’ve known him for years, I’ve seen the passionate leadership he’s shown on issues of social justice and I know what’s in his heart. As far as I am concerned, the book is closed.”
Yet Reid clearly is a racist. Reid falsely disparged Clarence Thomas’s writing skill, from the Wall Street Journal [3]. via Instapundit. [4]Judging Reid by his racial slanders and not bu his libeal politics, deems Reid a racist.
Obama’s definition of racist seems to leave out all liberal politicians such a Bobby “Sheets” Byrd.
Yet Obama has no problem seeing racism, when it suits his political means, from Jake Tapper, Political Punch [5] , via Rick Wizbang [6]:
“I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus,” Obama told ABC News, “but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.”
Obama called for the firing of Don Imus but attended Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s church for twenty years. Interesting!
