Barack Obama party animalRich Moran, at American Thinker, argues that Barack Obama is lazy.  Jennifer Rubin, Commentary Magazine, argues BO is a poor manager.    Across the pond, the Telegraph (UK) says  that BO is  tired,    While, Ed Morrissey, Hot Air, opines that BO  is “Over his head.”

As for me, I am going to go with what Michelle implies:

Team Obama’s image experts, perhaps hung over from all the Camelot-recreating Wednesday cocktail parties that are now a signature of the new administration, have fallen down on the job

This not to say that Rick, Jen, the Brits, or Ed are necessarily wrong, but BO is simply too busy partying to be bothered with that governing thing.     After all it not his 401K which is crashing.   He has no reason to care and he doesn’t.

  1. It seems fairly clear to me, that everyone in the list agrees that this presidency so far is an abject failure.  What they are arguing over just now …. well, let’s not say arguing so much as quibbling… is the specific area causing the failure.

    I’m even willing to stipulate that they are all correct.  Each cause lends itself to the results.  Unfortunately, none of the analysis done by any of these great thinkers leads us to a cure that will take any shorter time than four years to implement.

  2. And the Sixty-Four Dollar Question: Is it incompetence or apathy?  The former is correctable.  The latter is a national disaster.  It is not BO’s 401K which crashing and therefore none of his concern.

  3. David;

    Either we are dealing with criminal intent, or we are dealing with criminal negligence.  Either way that falls out, it’s a disaster.
