Early this morning, we had not one, but two web server failures. I’m unclear on how much downtime each of these failures caused, frankly.

On both occasions, the IX folks were responsive. But I’m now getting to the point where I’m thinking I’m going to need to implement a better site monitor from my end.

Suggestions on monitor systems are welcome. Something with SMS or email failure messages would be ideal…
