Just how stupid is Barack Obama? It may impossible to determine. Consider this tidbit from via Abe Goldberg, Commentary:
Barack Obama is toying with the idea of making a speech from an Islamic capital within his first 100 days in office. The scuttlebutt is all about finding the right one. (The consensus is Cairo-which is a terrible idea. An Obama speech there would be read as a shameful acceptance of Mubarak’s oppressive rule.) But my question is: what would he say?
What would the one say in a major capital of nation of Twelfth century savages? Is the Messiah man enough to speak truth to the Muslim world? Not hardly. Does BO intend to come grovelling? I suspect so. Is Obama stupid enough to believe that mere rhetoric. inflated as his may be, can actually change Islam? Let us hope not.
