[1]The bailout bill is due up for a vote today. Lawmakers are supposed to be at it at 8 this morning, and the President is speaking this morning on the subject.
I think I’ve found the best indicator possible in terms of the bailout bill being worthy of support: Dennis Kucinich is against it. [2] As a general rule, anything that moron is against must merit serious consideration.
He also gives us indication on it’s passage:
“I will tell you right now I don’t know if they have votes,” said Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio). “If the votes were there, this would be on the floor. The votes aren’t there.”
Translation: I’ll pass by a wide margin.
