Oil futures went slightly above $130/BBL early today apparently [1] on Iran fears, and on US weather concerns in the Gulf of Mexico.
These, however, seem temporary concerns. and certainly not the kind of speculation driving spikes we’ve seen in recent months, now. These also seem the kind of concerns that increasing domestic production would also most drectly affect.
