The House of Representative is set to pass this tripe:

Resolved, That the House of Representatives–

(1) acknowledges the fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow;

(2) apologizes to African-Americans on behalf of the people of the United States, for the wrongs committed against them and their ancestors who suffered under slavery and Jim Crow; and

(3) expresses its commitment to rectify the lingering consequences of the misdeeds committed against African-Americans under slavery and Jim Crow and to stop the occurrence of human rights violations in the future.

Hell no I don’t apologize. The House has no power to speak for me, or any other citizen.  I demand an apology from Mrs. Pelosi for attempting to put her words into my mouth.

  1. Shouldn’t the Democratic Party ALONE apologized.
    After all they are the only party that supported slavery, demanded slavery, etc.

  2. If you can find a single living democrat who oweed a slave, or supported the institution of slavery, I suggest you ask him for an apology.
