BO’s Grandmother

Is Barack Obama’s grandmother a racist, or is BO a fool?   BO as attributed by Jim Geraghty, National Review [1]

“I can no more disown [Reverend Wright] than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.”

Jesse Jackson As attributed by Dr. Walter E. Williams [2]

“There is nothing more painful for me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery-then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.”

Obama professes to give a racial reconciliation speech, but breaks twenty years of silence only when his campaign is floundering.   Funny the only solution BO proposes is elect him president.   As BO grandmother is still living maybe what BO denigrates as stereotypes, might be be better classified as wisdom.
