The Ever Shrinking Yellow Box

There was a time not so long ago,when everybody in the Rochester area know when the Kodak bonuses came out.   The merchants heavily advertised the event.  In other words, you could not help but notice.    Now the  Kodak bonus on par with ESLO [1], a  fishing derby   MSNBC [2]:

Eastman Kodak, the industrial giant that drove Rochester’s economy for generations, is now the city’s third largest employer behind the University of Rochester and Wegmans.

As of 2007, Kodak has 9,200 full-time employees in Rochester

In 1982 Eastman Kodak employed 60,400 full-time employees in the Rochester area

Kodak no longer driver Rochester’s economic engine.
