Word from MSNBC that Bill Richardson is quitting his bid for the White House.
Word also is, he’s denying the report.
I’m reminded of a movie:

ROBIN: I didn’t!
MINSTREL (singing): When danger reared its ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled

ROBIN: I didn’t!
MINSTREL (singing): And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet

ROBIN: I never!
And you know, if it wasn’t for the old man in Scene 24, we’d never have known he was even trying to be ruler of the world.

(PS: And before you start, yes, I take the election very seriously. Bill Richardson, on the other hand, is very hard to take seriously… and given his polling numbers, and his turnouts in the first few states, apparently everyone else suffers the same lack. I’m simply taking it to the next level. Now go and change your armor.)
